If you haven’t seen TMBG before, you should consider this show. They were at the Fillmore last night as well and that show sold out.  TMBG is a fun, alt-rock band with accordion and sax and catchy lyrics.  The album Flood was a personal favorite and I love the song ‘Birdhouse in your Soul’ from the album which also features ‘Istanbul (Not Constantinople)’.

I saw TMBG at Stern Grove a million years ago with Andee.  We were both visiting San Francisco and they were playing as a part of the Stern Grove (music) Festival which is a free festival held on Sundays in the summer in SF and features some fabulous music!  We had a large group so we were bound to have fun anyway, but the band certainly helped.  Go! Check them out!  They’re sure to put a smile on your face!
